Walk on Embsay Moor - Sunday 6th. October 2013.

Starting from the the cattle grid on the Embsay to Barden Road, the walk was basically a circuit of Barden Moor, with a loop towards the end of the walk down through Strid Wood to Bolton Abbey, before ascending again over Hare Head back to our cars.

This was a brisk 19 mile walk, rough going in places with several ups and downs, particularly early in the walk, but mainly on good tracks and paths in the later stages.
