We met at Marles wood and followed the ribble to dinkley Bridge in the morning mist. We could hardly  see the river me tom steven john steven and our mate rick. We crossed the river and followed  the Ribble  way the ground was frozen slightly so not boggy  yet. Then we came to Grindlestone farm we walked along the lane to the road which we followed for a mile or so to Dean brow through fields to Cox farm on to Buckley  Hall the views were stunning  the light and frosted trees looked amazing  great day for walking and every one was chatting   and enjoying the experience  we followed  hothersal lane to the lodge and took dinner on  on the lane then back onto the ribble way with more stunning  landscapes all-round along  the path to Ribchester  to the roman  baths for a look around and a short stop on to the Chapel at Stydd and back to the river where we spoke  to fishermen and the bailiff we then retraced our steps back to car a good day was had by all the weather  made it a superb  day thanks to the guys who turned up today Ady and Tom
