Weather: Misty with sleet & drizzle which cleared through day

We set of from Crowthorn village to follow the path which runs over towards Ramsbottom under Peel Tower, unfortunately no views because of the mist. Towards Ramsbottom we followed the cobbled path down to the Hare & Hounds PH and through Redisher Woods leading to Holcombe Training  Centre where the Krypton factor was filmed years ago, here we had lunch

Onwards did a bit of road walking to avoid a really muddy field then up Hawkshaw Lane passing Roger Worthington's grave whom John Crooke pointed out was a local Baptist Minister who died in 1709

A rather muddy path lead us to Plantation Road and back to Crowthorn.
