Tuesday  12 March – Walk from Llangho

11 group members and 3 dogs met at Langho on a crystal clear, cold but sunny morning for a walk led by Chris Seddon. The ground was hard which made for easy walking over the fields, first through Mytton Fold golf course and then round Dean Clough reservoir with stunning views of snow-clad Pen-y-Ghent and Fountains Fell.

We carried on round the outskirts of Great Harwood before stopping for lunch at Bowley Scout Camp and then continued along Dean Lane to Whalley Banks and a lower level route back to the cars arriving there at 2.15pm after an excellent 10 mile walk.

Thanks Doreen for a good walk.
