Distance - 12 miles

Weather - Cold but dry and sunny at times.

A good turn-out for a 12 mile circuit on a cold but clear day; a welcome change after the weekend storms.

A steady climb for the first 3 miles to Nick Pot, then heading east towards Horton In Ribblesdale before turning south for Wharfe and Austwick, and returning to Clapham along Thwaite Lane.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
