From Higher House Lane the group took the path past Primrose Cottage generally towards the M61, before turning to undertake the long climb to the summit of Healey Nab. From the summit the path down to Kays Farm was taken before joining Back Lane for a short distance. The path through fields alongside Anglezarke Reservoir to Kenyon Embankment was then taken. The embankment was crossed before the group picked up the path to the Yarrow Reservoir. The embankment path was followed to Bullough Lane which was then taken back down to the edge of the Anglezarke Reservoir which was followed past Bullough Reservoir and onto the Water Mans Cottage on Moor Lane.
Following lunch at White Coppice the Goit was followed to the outskirts of Brinscall where the higher level path past Brinscall Hall to Briers Brow was taken. The group subsequently dropped back down to Brinscall Mill Road before eventually working their way alongside the Heapey Lodges back to the start point.
A great circular walk with some fantastic views of the area enjoyed by all in the stunning sunshine.
