There were 8 walkers and 2 dogs who assembled at Ribchester for a wet start to the walk, initially we followed the Ribble way into Hurst Green for an early lunch stop.
After lunch the weather started to improve and we left Hurst Green and followed the brook past Green Gore and then returned to Ribchester over the tops with a brief stop at Norman Church which proved to be of great interest to the group, then finally back into Ribchester, a total of 10.5 miles.
