Todmorden Centenary Way part 1

We climbed out of Todmorden up to Whirlaw Stones where we joined the Todmorden Centenary Way which we followed to Stoodley Pike Monument. We stopped here for lunch as there was shelter from the breeze which was now quite cold. From here we followed the Centenary Way / Pennine Way to Warland Reservoir. We then followed the path dropping down past Gaddings Dam to Basin Stone where a group photo was taken before dropping down through Salford back to Todmorden.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
