Warton Crag

Walk Leader: Andy Webster

Number on walk: 13

Distance: 15 miles

Weather: Cold but sunny

There where 13 walkers and 1 dog and we started at 09:30, on a very cold but sunny almost cloudless sky who set off, going over Warton Crag towards Yealand Storrs then on to Hawes Water and then to Trowbarrow Quarry for our lunch stop. After lunch we headed towards Silverdale via The Row and the Pepperpot, then followed the Coastal Path visiting Jack Scout and Jenny Brown’s Point before returning to the car park via Crag Foot.

All in all a very pleasant days walk with stunning views over Morecambe Bay in near perfect walking weather.
