Gargrave July 16th
Walk leaders: Doreen & Gareth
Number: 13
Distance: 16.7 miles
Weather: Hot & Sunny
We left Gargrave going through Gambers wood and passing St. Helens Well and Friars Head to Winterburn reservoir. We then started the long but steady climb to Weets top, 414m, where we stopped for lunch.
We made our way down through Janet's Fosse to Malham and then followed the river to Hanlith where we picked up the Pennine Way which we follwed back to our cars at Gargrave. Although the weather was hot everyone coped well and a good day was had by all.
