The walk started from White Coppice following the Goit to Brinscall, continuing in the same direction on to the Railway Park and Withnell Nature Reserve Nature Trail.

On reaching Abbey village we U turned making our way down to Withnell Fold and on to the canal where we had our lunch stop. We then moved off the canal on to Bagganley Lane, making our way back to White Coppice.
