Weather:                   Everything !!!  Hail, rain and  glorious sunshine. 

Route:- 
 From the car park at the rear of the Royal Arms and Cafe at Tockholes.  Into Roddlesworth Woods, up onto Great Hill, crossing Redmond's Edge and down into Belmont for lunch in the play area. Unfortunately Doreen couldn't be persuaded to have a go on the swings !! Return along part of the Witton Weavers Way and Cartridge Hill with fantastic views of Darwen tower and beyond.
