Route
Meet outside the Pendle Heritage Centre – Post Code BB9 6JQ. W3W: ///films.subway.mooring. Parking is available in the Heritage Car Park at a cost or please park on the Colne Road – B6247 or surrounding streets.

We head to the Leeds and Liverpool canal via Higherford and its bridge but progress along the canal bank is soon halted by the Foulridge Tunnel, which forces over land into the village of Foulridge via the Lower Reservoir, which feeds the canal.

We come off the canal shortly after rejoining and then climb up to Weets Hill via the statues at Duck Pond Farm. This modest hill gives lovely views, if the weather permits, north across the Ribble Valley and of its bigger brother, Pendle Hill. We head back using, in part, the Pendle Way, with good views of Blacko Tower and a lovely stretch of Pendle Water.

General Notes
This walk has a modest 1,214ft of ascent with most of this undertaken when climbing to the top of Weets Hill. The pace will be accommodating to all.
