Earby, Lothersdale, Pinhaw Beacon. Start from the footpath 100 yards along Barnwood Road, grid ref SD 90848 46217; plenty street parking nearby. Head to Moor Hall Farm and follow Pendle Way to Black Lane Ends; proceed along Warley Wise Lane and Cowling Hill Lane to join Pennine Way to Lothersdale and Pinhaw Beacon before dropping back down into Earby. Route: Start from the footpath 100 yards along Barnwood Road, grid ref SD 90848 46217; plenty street parking nearb Head to Moor Hall Farm and follow Pendle Way to Black Lane Ends; Proceed along Warley Wise Lane and Cowling Hill Lane to join Pennine Way to Lothersdale (6.3 miles), where the Hare and Hounds pub is an ideal stop for refreshments Continue up Pennine Way to Pinhaw Beacon, before dropping back down into Earby, via Clagger Lane, and the footpaths to Earby YHA and across fields back to Moor Hall Farm.
