Pendle Heritage Centre car park, Colne Road, Barrowford. BB9 6JQ, SD863 397.
Nearest toilets to the start are in Booths supermarket.
The car park is free for the first hour, then 50p per half hour, so will cost about £4. There is also some free roadside parking nearby.
The route follows the Pendle Way from the Pendle Heritage Centre car park all the way to the summit of Weets Hill, and on down into Barnoldswick (public toilets available). The route then follows the Leeds and Liverpool canal back to Barrowford, diverting through Foulridge over the canal tunnel. Lunch should be at the picnic site at Salterforth
General Notes
There is a significant stretch on the Leeds and Liverpool canal, which may not be to everyone's taste
