The route passes through Pool-in-Wharfedale, Leathley, Timble, Denton, Middleton, Ilkley & Menston. Parts of the route can be, at times, rather wet underfoot & this combined with some stretches of stony track make strong, sensible footwear essential

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
