Dales trails to Tealby - Feb 2016

Walk Feb 20th Dales trails to Tealby

14 walkers met at Nettletons walker’s car park on a cloudy day which promised rain later in the day. We had 5 members and 9 visitors from various other groups and it was good to see Terry Bickle on the walk.

We first went thru  Rothwell and along the top of the Wolds visiting Walesby and the walkers church and also seeing the special Lincolnshire long wool sheep and then to Tealby to the Kings Head pub for refreshments. Light rain had started at this point and suitably refreshed we continued on our walk at a low level somehow missing most of the mud encountered on previous walks. We continued on thru the village of Claxby and then back up the hill to the top of the Wolds and the car park at Nettleton.

It was a great walk in a beautiful part of Lincolnshire and well planned to see places of interest and also missing most of the mud. Well done Dave.
