The Walesby Wander - Mar 2015

27 walkers met at the Walesby Village Hall on a dry but cold morning, we had a few members from other local groups join us on this walk. The morning saw us walk through  the very picturesque countryside of the Lincolnshire Wolds visiting the lovely villages of Otby, Stainton Le Vale, Benbrook and then to The White Hart pub at Ludford  for the lunch stop, a superb pub well frequented by walkers, runners and cyclists.

We continued on our way back to Walesby with some lovely spells of sunshine via the very pretty village of Tealby visiting the rambler’s church at Walesby. A church much frequented by walkers with a very special stained glass window, the church had superb views over the Lincolnshire flatlands with Lincolnshire Cathedral on the horizon. We then continued down the hill to the start point at the village hall. It was another excellent walk lead by David and Lesley Wolsey, Thank you.
