Five visitors (4 Lincs LDWA, 1 Token Pirate)

An good o'l Hookway from Vermuyden LDWA 

A Sunny windy day ensued leaving Beckingham we found the Trent, then West Stockwith onto the Chesterfield canal. 

Through Gringley on the Hill and Clayton for lunch.

A warm afternoon ensued along a few dried mud plowed fields back to Beckingham

On to the River Trent bank
West Stockwith marina
On to the Chesterfield cut, At Misterton
An old friend
A new way mark
Through Gringley and its hill
Some lush plowed fields today
Lunch at Clayton Church
With some special paintings
Some lovely vines and grapes
Back onto the cut
More fields and dried muck this afternoon

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
