Route
We again use Public Transport. To start Conisborough Train Station DN12 3DE.
We can use bus number 408 to get us back to Doncaster in half an hour. NOT Conisborough that is another half hour train journey
The route leaves Conisboro by the Ferryboat wharf footbridge, turning R along the Sheffield & Don navigation. Crossing at Mexborough Low Lock to follow North along the River Dearne. Leaving the river towards Barnburgh. Crossing the Great North road at Barnsdale Bar to enter Askern via Campsal & Norton
General Notes
We get the bus back to Doncaster where we will part to find our ways home
