This is repeat of the 2012 Christmas event. A linear walk to Wakefield town centre visiting Sandal Castle, a wonderful greasy spoon breakfast venue, an unusual way of crossing the River Calder and culminating in a visit to a real ale house or two in Wakefield with a train journey back to the start. The start time enables walk access by public transport
