Start Blacksmith's Arms c.p. Everton, near Bawtry
Again a different route this year: easy walk along the Chesterfield Canal past Wiseton on to Clayworth. For the romantics among us we follow Lover's Lane and the Lancaster Rd to Gringley on the Hill before following the Chesterfield Canal back to Drakeholes, then return to Everton for lunch. General Notes
Walk is in place of our Xmas dinner walk; followed AGM and lunch at the Blacksmith's Arms, Everton (last year's event proved successful). If you wish to attend the lunch pls contact Frank Lawson to reserve a place and request a menu. Non-group members also welcome for the walk & the lunch
