Welcome to the LDWA Walks Database

[Scotland] [Northern England] [Central England] [Wales] [Southern England] [Non-Regional]

LDWA Local Groups organise over 1000 Social Walks every year, across the whole of Great Britain.

This facility makes it much easier to look back over this unique library of walks, perhaps to inspire future walks, or possibly just to trigger memories of some of our past epic excursions.

As well as recording overview details of all fifteen thousand-plus of LDWA's Social Walks since 2008, the database also makes it possible for additional information to be added to each walk.  This may include photographs, walk reports and GPX files.  Where a GPX file is available, the route is shown on a map and LDWA members can download the file for their own use.

There are 44 walks databases, one for each of our Local Groups.  Each database is easily searchable from either a map or in a list.  Where additional information (e.g. a GPX file) is available, this is indicated by a small "+" symbol on the map or list.

At the bottom of this page is a list of all our Local Groups, organised by geographic region.  Click on a group name to choose your view for that group's past walks.

Happy browsing!
