Jurassic Hundred 2027

To be organised by Cornwall & Devon Group

The 54th edition of the LDWA’s annual 100 mile challenge event will take place in East Devon over the late May bank holiday weekend in 2027. Hosted by the Cornwall and Devon Group, the Jurassic Hundred will start and finish in the historic town of Axminster, and showcase the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and the East Devon and Dorset National Landscapes (formerly Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

The route will initially head east into Dorset to join the coast near the beautiful town of Lyme Regis, and then mainly follow the glorious rollercoaster of the South West Coast Path to Exmouth, turning north alongside the Exe Estuary before striking inland. It will then follow the route of the East Devon Way, crossing hilltop heathland and river valleys back to the Axe Valley. Expect steep climbs, big views (weather permitting!) and a warm welcome - but hopefully slightly less warm than the 2026 Hunnypot's welcome!

Due to the elongated nature of the route, it lends itself to circular recce walks or linear with the use of public transport, either independently or as part of a planned social walk programme. Find the planned route and further details for entrants via the menus above; these will be updated and added to during the year as the event comes closer.

Entries will be via SI Entries and will open on Monday 12th October.
