Hello Everyone

New Members
A very warm welcome to new Associate member Maria Page - we look forward to meeting you on one of our group walks or challenge events.

Norman Corrin - Volunteer Award
Congratulations to Norman on receiving his well-deserved NEC nominated Volunteer Award at Sunday’s National AGM. Norman was nominated for his work as the LDWA Membership Secretary, and the award was wholeheartedly supported by BBN. Disappointingly, BBN’s words in support were not read out during the awards - so I am repeating them here! BBN's support  And hopefully there will soon be a photo of the presentation to share with you

How to  save a life!
Sharing this from the Essex and Herts group - who now have a portable defibrillator donated by the Finish Line Fund.
There is an excellent short training video from the British Heart Foundation which guides you through what to do if someone is in cardiac arrest, and when and how to use a defibrillator.
How to save a life

For a week with a watery walk:

A friend dug a hole in the garden and filled it with water.

I think he meant well.
Why are some fish at the bottom of the ocean?
They dropped out of school!
How do you get a pen across some water?
Biro-ing.
What happens when you get water on a table?
It becomes a pool table.
How do you know if an ant is a boy or a girl?
If you toss it in the water and it sinks, it’s a girl. If the ant floats, it’s a buoyant.
If H2O is the formula for water, what is the formula for ice?
H2O cubed.
If H20 is water, what is H204?
Drinking, bathing, washing, swimming……
As raindrops say ………
......... two’s company, three’s a cloud.
