BBN’s Ruby Doo Celebrating our 40th Birthday -  walks and celebratory afternoon tea 
Saturday 22nd July 2023 at Woburn Village Hall

All BBN members, new and old, past and present, plus family and friends are all warmly invited to come along and enjoy BBN’s 40th Birthday Ruby Doo. In the morning there will be optional led walks of varying distances starting from Woburn Village Hall and in the afternoon, of course, a celebratory birthday tea.

The plan for the day

• 8.30am             start of 13.5 mile walk led by Dee Brockway, there will be 1 break
• 10.00am           start of  8.75 mile walk led by Terry Brown, there will be 1 break
• 12.00 midday   start of 3-4 mile walk led by Gill Bunker, we’ll break as many times as we choose!

The Hall will be open from 8.00am for loos and a cuppa if time allows.

All walks will return to Woburn Village hall by 2pm.

• 2.00pm             Birthday tea.  We are hoping that some of our long-standing friends who no longer walk with us will still come along for our birthday tea  (sandwiches and savouries, cake and scones and of course more cake)
• 4.30pm             Closure and farewells

There will not be a charge for the day, so we hope lots of you will come along with family and friends and enjoy yourselves.  For catering purposes we do need to have some idea of numbers.

You will then be sent a form which will need to be completed for each guest, to inform us:

• If you are intending to walk, please confirm which walk.  You are not committed to this but it will help with planning
• If you or your guests have any special dietary requirements.

There is free parking at the hall
