Hi All,
The 2023 Local Group Representatives’ Weekend will be held at the George Albert Hotel, near Dorchester, Dorset from November 10 - 12 and I’m getting in touch to invite all groups to nominate a delegate to attend. Further details of the venue are available by clicking on the link below.

As you will be aware, the weekend is a chance for the group representatives to identify and work together on issues of common interest and concern. It’s an opportunity to share experiences and best practice across the groups and delegates invariably come away with valuable insights and practical actions to further strengthen their local group. Over the years, the weekend has received positive feedback from all those who have attended and, each year, more groups get involved.
The Dorset Group will host the event and look forward to welcoming everyone and showcasing some of the beautiful countryside around Dorset.
The event runs from Friday evening through to lunchtime on Sunday.
The cost of the weekend is as follows:

1st Delegate - £50.00

2nd Delegate - £100.00
This is inclusive of all meals and accommodation. Travel expenses will be paid for delegates.
Heather Giles, Chair of the Dorset Group, has kindly offered to support the organisation of the weekend. Please can you send details of your nominations to Heather (dorset.ldwa@gmail.com) by Friday 21st July. In cases where a group officer is unable to attend, active and interested members of the group are very welcome. Please let Heather have the name, role and group for all that wish to participate. After this date, we will work with the delegates to develop the agenda and the format of the weekend.
