BBN40: The Milton Keynes Boundary Walk

This was the first special event of 2023 in celebration of BBN's 40th anniversary.  
The 63 mile Milton Keynes Boundary Walk was the inspiration of one of BBN's founder members Chris Meredith, so it is fitting that we walked the route as part of our anniversary celebrations. 


The three days: 
Saturday 18th March  Newton Longville to Ravenstone  22.9ml. Leader: Gill Bunker 
Saturday 1st April   Ravenstone to Astwood 19.2ml. Leaders: Terry Brown and Nick Emery
Saturday 13th May  Astwood to Newton Longville  21.1ml. Leader: Mary Knight

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
