Five of us left the cp at Marsworth for the first leg, what a day, and we had great weather. We left the CP at 09.00 and headed along the Grand Union Canal for only about 500 mts, then we went left and followed the Aylesbury Arm for a while. We left the Arm and followed the road for about a couple of miles then joined the Wendover Arm. Most of the day we were on the canal side.
T break after 2 hours then on to Wendover Woods for lunch at the Wendover Woods Cafe. Not far off the lunch break we passed two ladies and a couple of children, the little lad decided he wanted to play with us and chased me around only to try to pull my trousers down when he caught me, eventually he returned to his mum and we headed for the cafe for lunch.
After lunch we headed back to the Wendover Arm and back to the cars at Marsworth.
It was a great day, and a pint afterwards in the local boozer made the day. Here's to P2.
