Wendover Gap 2002-2008

The Wendover Gap was first held in 2002. 26 and 15 miles (later plus 8½) from Prestwood, organised by Dave and Lynn Yorston with help from Mike and Sandra Hyland. There were another three events, the last being in 2008.

2025 Update
After the 2008 event the route was on the website as an Anytime Challenge.
The Anytime Challenge has now been deleted due to HS2. A lot of the paths used have been altered, and some have been closed and are not going to be re-opened.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
