The walking weekend is centred on Ilfracombe, nestling in a harbour as old and beautiful as any in Britain with the breathtaking scenery of North Devon as a backdrop. There are splendid walks along the SW Coast Path which we’ll be exploring Saturday & Sunday and walks around Exmoor to explore on approach and departure from Ilfracombe. For those who like to take things easier, one can simply stroll through the delightful gardens, swim from the Tunnel beaches and coves or watch the ever-changing harbour scene. If there’s time, a boat trip would be ideal during your stay to see the spectacular cliffs of North Devon or visit the legendary Isle of Lundy. There is also plenty to do in the evenings with theatre, concerts, and cinema, as well as entertainment provided by Alfa Travel at the Imperial Hotel.

The only problem I see is how long it takes to get to Ilfracombe and back home safely.

Please contact me if you wish to join us on the BBN weekend and I’ll provide details on how to book a single/double/twin room for you.  Equally there are plenty of other Hotels, Guest Houses, B&B’s, Rental Properties, Campsites & Hostelries in the vicinity although it’s nice for us all to be together. It’s completely up to you.
