Three Counties Tread - Thursday 4th April 2024

The 3 Counties Tread, a very muddy walk. We left Harrold at 09.30 and headed for Lavendon for morning T break, then across muddy fields to reach Olney for lunch. When we started out it was raining but later it turned out to be a very nice day. Led by Joe, his first time leading a walk  - he did a great job. We followed a busy main road for a while but most of the day we were in fields. At the end of the walk Joe received his mug for leading his first walk from Sara.
Terry was at the end to say hello, sporting a pair of Swarovski bino's.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
