Hannington Hike Challenge Event
 - Sunday 3rd March
A massive well done and thank you to Alan Leadbetter for organising another successful Hannington Hike event. There was the anticipated mud, but also plenty of sunshine and blue sky, and lots of lovely comments from the participants – about the scenic route, the friendly welcome at checkpoints, the wide choice of snacks on offer, and the tasty vegetable stew at the finish. All credit to Alan for another successful event.
I have lifted some photos from Facebook to share. Photos

And we’re finishing on a musical note:

How do you make a bandstand?
Take away their chairs
What is the difference between a fish and a piano?
You can’t tuna fish.
What has forty feet and sings?
The school choir.
Why is a piano so hard to open?
Because the keys are on the inside.
What type of music are balloons afraid of?
Pop music
What do you call a musical insect?
A humbug.
Why did the chicken join the band?
Because he had the drumsticks.
How do you fix a broken brass instrument?
With a tuba glue
