New Members A very warm welcome to Anna Gibson, Jolene Jefferson, Michael Cook and Jamie & Rachel Stamp (Primary) and to Helen Bingham (Associate) - we look forward to meeting you on one of our group walks or challenge events.
Cancelled Walk: Sunday 21st April Unfortunately - due to the planned minibus being unavailable – the The Knightley Way and Grafton Way walk has been cancelled. I have not tried to find a replacement minibus as the purpose of this walk was to use the credit Bill's Coaches kindly gave us in respect of last August's Night Walk (cancelled due to an extreme storm weather warning). So, third time lucky I hope! Fingers crossed! We are looking at dates later in the year. Strider Winner Congratulations to Chris Burns who solved and won the Puzzlers’ Plot 2023. ITMA! Any science fans out there? Like to hear chemistry jokes ..... periodically?
What did one tectonic plate say when he bumped into the other? Sorry! My fault. Why is it bad to trust atoms? They make up everything! Iron man is actually …. Fe male If trees produced WiFi we would be planting them everywhere …….. Too bad they only produce oxygen. Oxygen and potassium went on a date. It went OK. What do you call Oxygen and Nitrogen training together? Air Conditioning Why did the proton refuse to speak to the neutron? He was mad atom. Why are some plutonium elements upset when they turn 24000 years old? They have a midlife crisis. Gill Bunker bbn@ldwa.org.uk
