Lots of Striders given out and lots of people to talk to. How many times can you say “We cover Challenge Events, Social Walks and Long Distance Paths” and then explain what the first two are. Quite a few actually, and then you have a brain fade moment and think “What was I just saying?”

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
