This Anytime Challenge walk leaves Birdsall then goes onto Thixendale, to then climb above Court Dale and Deepdale before passing through the deserted medieval village of Wharram Percy. The route then goes via Fizgig Hill, skirts Settrington then on towards North Grimson before arriving back at Birdsall. Sorry, no dogs

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
