Despite the unfavourable weather forecast, which proved to be broadly accurate, we set off in good spirits to tackle our annual marshall's outing in advance of next weekend's flagship Kilburn Kanter Challenge. The route proved to be as enjoyable (and challenging at times) as usual - with some glorious autumnal colours emerging through the mist from time to time.

The walk itself was uneventful, but we all had a "good chat" and the supported catering (thanks to Caroline and Roger) was exceptional.
