Start will be at Midlothian Snowsports Centre, Biggar Road Edinburgh EH10 7DU By car Exit Edinburgh City Bypass at Lothianburn junction. Head for Biggar on A702. entrance 1/2 mile from the junction on the right. (Just after The Steading restaurant). By train/bus Lothian Buses 4 (from Dalry Road by Haymarket station) or 15 (from Waverley station) to Hillend
Will follow as closely as possible the first Pentlands Hike route of 40 years ago
General Notes
This is a Sunday social walk organised by the South of Scotland group, but a few Lakeland members are planning to make a weekend of it and stay over on Saturday & Sunday night. Please contact Nicky if planning to go along & if you'd like further details of Lakeland group plans, incl accommodation.
