Yorkshire Heritage Way March 2023

A group trip was made to Yorkshire this March to walk between Bradford and Rippon Cathedrals on the Yorkshire Heritage Way.  This route was devised by the Burley Bridge group who are fundraising to get a bridge over the Wharf to replace the rather flooded stepping stones which are no longer a safe crossing point.  John Sparshatt was a lead in route planning and as we had already enjoyed his six Dales Trail we thought it worth giving it a go.  It is a lovely route, with some interesting history along the way and pretty easy to follow with good signposting.  We used the Wellington Boot in Darley Dale for our accommodation base and they served us very well.
