Always a nice place to walk when the Lakes are busy in the summer holidays we met at Cowan Bridge to take in the hills around Barbondale.  Thanks to Fred and Helen for leading the walk and taking us via the lovely Barbon Inn

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
