We were very lucky with some glorious sunshine after a rainy week - when we spent a weekend tackling the Llangollen Round. It's just 34 miles or so, but with roller coaster hills all the way round so it stretched our legs.  Lovely accommodation and hospitality in general to be had in Llangollen and a well signed route so we can highly recommend.  You can actually do it as a one day challenge too. But why would you?  When you can use it as an excuse for an overnight stay.
