Wet Sleddale and Swindale - January 2022

We got away with a January walk in this remote corner of East Cumbria, wrapped up warm and dry.  A lovely route over rough moors with decent tracks takes you away from Wet Sleddale Reservoir, over the fell down into the lovely RSPB managed Swindale.  Then we came back using tracks along part of the Coast to Coast route.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
