Water Yeat Affair

The Water Yeat affair was a one off challenge event organised by Westmorland and North Lancs (our name before Lakeland) in 2010.  It was 25 miles or a 12.5 mile loop.

We have provided you with the route description here.  It is many years since any of us walked it so we cannot confirm the accuracy of the route description. We also have no GPX for the route so if anybody walks around it and can provide us with a GPX please email it to lakeland@ldwa.org.uk

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
