Howgills Summits and Dales Way October 2023

Another day of "lucky with the weather" after lots of rainy days saw us out on the Howgills.  Lakeland often has visitors from other groups, and once again we were joined by members from West Yorkshire, Cumbria and even Nick up from Heart of England group.  It was lovely to enjoy these sweeping hills followed the the babbling rivers of the Dales Way towards Dentdale.  And we almost hitched a lift on a hot air balloon!
