Joint Walk with East Lancashire LDWA - December 2022

We were delighted to host a walk for East Lancs in December 2022 when they were enjoying their annual pre Christmas break up at Ghyll Head, above Windermere.  We will be repeating this by walking together again in the summer of 2023 and in December 2023.  Here are some pictures from our walk over to Rusland and through the woodland above Newby Bridge.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
