Steady climb to High Cup Nick over Middle Tongue, descent via Murton Pike and return to Dufton through fields and woodlands on Wainwright's A Pennine Journey.  15 ml. 2600' ascent overall, be prepared for some pathless moorland terrain

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
