Fish Inn, Buttermere. Linear walk - Bus from Keswick is the 77A from Bus Depot departs 9:20 & arrives 10:13 Buttermere
Buttermere to Keswick. Walking alongside Crummock Water, the up by Gasgale Gill (Lisa Beck & Coledale Beck) to reach Braithwaite, then into Keswick via Portinscale
General Notes
A very beautiful walk. Anyone needing to shorten it slightly there are buses back from Braithwaite to Keswick at 16:55 17:05 & 18:05. Saves about 2.5 miles approx. There does not seem to be a bus from Ambleside/Grasmere in time to intercept the Buttermere Bus at Keswick. Presumably something to do with School Holidays. Please email lakeland@ldwa.org.uk to confirm attending and we will try to help with some car sharing for those from the South Lakes
