Route
The walk will start at 9am from Coxwold followed by lunch at 2pm at The George Hotel, Easingwold (approx. 6 miles drive from Coxwold). Meet at Coxwold Village Hall - just outside the village on the road to Byland. Car parking also at the Village Hall (honesty box contribution)

Strictly a leisurely pace and circa 1,200 ft of ascent

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
