Eastern side of the Mallerstang valley, climbing to Mallerstang Edge, from Garsdale station north to Kirkby Stephen Station (not visiting KS market town itself) route via Nateby
General Notes
Walk starts Garsdale station 09:25 ( he 08:50 from Settle arrives 09:21, or the 08:49 from Kirkby Stephen, travelling south arriving Garsdale 09:03). I aim to catch the 15:47 southbound train from Kirkby Stephen, arriving Garsdale 16:00 & Settle 16:30. There is a later train from KS at 17:15....some may prefer to leave cars at Kirkby Stephen station & catch the 08:49 southbound train to the start of the walk
