Please note that Underbarrow Road is closed where it crosses the A591 Kendal bypass, and so the only access to the start is via the Lyth valley. Recommended route is to take the A5074, then head through Crosthwaite and Underbarrow.

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
